2019 National Conference
We are only five days away from our 2019 National Conference: DARE TO BE POWERFUL! For those who have already registered for the conference, take some time to familiarize yourself with the 2019 National Conference app — this mobile app is not only a great way to connect with fellow conference attendees, but it is also a one-stop-shop to access all the important information you’ll need, including session descriptions and locations, speaker bios and headshots, maps, and more. Read these instructions to download the app — these instructions were created for Capitol Hill Day attendees but can apply to anyone attending the conference.
If you’re joining us in DC next week, we encourage you to share your excitement, discuss what you’re looking forward to, and share insights, quotes, and photos from conference sessions and plenaries on social media — use the hashtag #YWCA2019 and remember to tag us in your posts! When you post on social media using this hashtag, it will also be featured on the SocialWall of our 2019 National Conference app.

Updates on Reproductive Health Across the Nation
YWCA USA believes that quality, affordable health care is critical for everyone — but for many women, particularly women of color, those who are low-income, and those who are survivors of violence, medical care often remains inaccessible. Moreover, YWCA USA supports access to the full range of reproductive health services, which includes abortion. Learn more about YWCA USA’s position on protecting women’s reproductive health from out prior statements.
This year, state legislators across the country have introduced and passed some of the most restrictive abortion legislation in recent memory. Find out more about state-by-state legislation and the current fight to protect and sustain access to reproductive health care from our partners at the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
