Our annual Challenge offers time and space to build more effective social justice habits, particularly those dealing with issues of race, power, privilege, and leadership
During the four weeks of our 2024 Racial Justice Challenge, participants will have the opportunity to learn about barriers to racial equity within the following topic areas:
- Bodily Autonomy
- Women's Financial Empowerment/Caregiving
- Gun Violence
- Transportation
Additionally, YWCA USA will host an Until Justice Just Is town hall event on April 11, 2024, at 3 p.m. ET to explore the topic areas of the Racial Justice Challenge and how we can work to build bridges to equity in our communities. February 23 Deadline: Urge Your Local Prosecutor to Support VOCA Funding
Funding for VOCA victim services grants is projected to be $700 million lower this fiscal year than in 2023, which would be a staggering 41% decrease with devastating consequences. We know how important these dollars are across the network, and urgently need your help to build support for VOCA funding among state prosecutors.
Take action now: A letter urging Congress to stabilize the federal Crime Victims Fund (VOCA funding) is currently being circulated by the National District Attorneys Association on behalf of district attorneys. If you have a relationship with your local elected or appointed prosecutor, please ask them to sign on before Friday, February 23.
Reach out to Jason Davidson (jdavidson@ndaajustice.org) directly with questions or for more information.

Network Program Survey Update
As announced during the Jan. 31 YWConnect, a pause has been placed on the Network Program Survey. After much consideration, the decision has been made to postpone the survey until September 2024. By pausing this survey, you, our local associations, will be able to focus on the data collection needs for the Healthcare and Real Estate initiatives. We respect your time and limited resources, and we respect your need for us to spread out these requests.
If you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please contact Strategy Impact Evaluation at strategyimpactevaluation@ywca.org.

Changes to YWCA USA System
YWCA USA is excited to share an update related to our move to the new database system Impexium over the next month. Below are key areas and dates to keep in mind as we go through this system upgrade.
Access to the Intranet
With our upgrade to Impexium, records that haven’t been active or updated within the last year may not be brought into the new system. Once our new login functionality launches in mid-March, you should be able use your existing email address to login and will be prompted to create a new password. If your email is not found, you can go through our new create account process to access the Intranet.
The new platform also offers a robust dashboard for you as association staff to self-manage your staff and board rosters. By adding records to your roster, your team members will then also receive access to the Intranet. Closer to the time of launch, we will provide instructions for how to use this new powerful functionality.
Support Fees
We will have a new page where associations can go to fill out their support fees in FY25. While the Support Fees calculations page will have a new look and feel, there is no change to the actual process or dues formula. You will hear more from our Support Fees team on the upcoming enhancements to the process.
Temporary Pause on New User Accounts
Beginning on February 22, 2024, YWCA will be putting a temporary pause on allowing new users to be created in our system (and thereby limiting access for new users to the Intranet). This is necessary to allow for data validation as we move to the new platform. We will make all efforts to keep this pause as short as possible and will alert you when you can resume adding new staff/board members to the system.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we move forward with this exciting |
