SUBJECT: YWCA Local Association Profile Survey - 2015
Dear YWCA Leaders,
The YWCA 2015 Bi-Annual Local Association Profile Survey is ready! As stated in the memo sent December 19, 2014: Upcoming Bi-Annual Local Association Profile Survey, the survey is designed to capture demographic, administrative, financial, and program data for 2014. Completing this report is part of YWCAs’ mutual membership agreement.
Following this announcement you will receive another email with a link for an online survey form that is unique to your association. The email will come from: nationalsurvey@ywca.org via surveymonkey.com
The subject line will be: “YWCA Local Association Profile Survey-2015.”
Please ensure that this email is opened and kept handy as it provides the only means to access the profile survey form for your YWCA.
If the email with the link to the survey form is not received, please check your junk mail folder. If the email with the link is not there either, please contact the national office immediately via nationalsurvey@ywca.org.
The survey deadline is March 16, 2015. Given the time necessary to generate data summaries for the annual YWCA USA conference in June, flexibility and/or an extension for this due date is not possible. Please be sure that a plan and resources are in place to complete the survey by the due date of March 16.
Data from the Local Association Profile Survey is used to:
- Elevate the work of local associations in national marketing campaigns;
- Develop advocacy agendas and credible, powerful messaging;
- Build relationships with national funders;
- Present leading programs, participation, and impacts across the organization;
- Facilitate networking and the sharing of service strategies among local associations;
- Help make decisions for awards and other YWCA USA benefits made available to local associations;
- Update the online catalogue of YWCA programs;
- Designate capacity-building priorities; and,
- Harness our collective power to advance the mission of the YWCA!
As an orientation to the 2015 survey process, a webinar: 2015 Local Association Profile Survey-How to and Q & A, will be aired on January 28, 2015, 2:00-3:00 p.m. Eastern time. This webinar will provide valuable information for all staff involved in this process.
