SUBJECT: Stand Against Racism
Dear YWCA Leaders,
We are thrilled to announce that Stand Against Racism™ is officially a Signature Campaign of YWCA USA! Started as a collaboration by YWCA Trenton and YWCA Princeton in 2007, Stand Against Racism™ has been a successful campaign at YWCAs across the country. This campaign is a part of our on-going effort to increase our collective impact in promoting racial justice and civil rights.
Stand Against Racism™ is designed to build community among those who work for racial justice and raise awareness about the ongoing impacts of institutional and structural racism nationwide. As a part of our larger national strategy to fulfill our mission of “eliminating racism”, Stand Against Racism™ takes place annually in late April.
We recognize that many of you are eager to begin planning in your communities. We are currently working to update content, materials and systems for the 2015 Stand Against Racism™ campaign. Look for more information soon regarding dates, registration, and materials. With the knowledge that more information will be released as available, please contact standagainstracism@ywca.org with any immediate questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Donte Hilliard
Director of Mission Impact
