SUBJECT: Vote Now: Association Excellence Awards!
Dear YWCA Leaders,
We are happy to announce that the YWCA USA will present the Association Excellence Awards again this year at our 2015 Annual Conference. These awards were inaugurated in 2013 to honor the outstanding work that local YWCAs do every day to eliminate racism and empower women. The awards recognize three associations for excellence in the fields of racial justice, women’s empowerment, and advocacy.
A selection committee independently ranked the associations presented in the nomination process. The finalists presented in each category received the highest scores from the committee. The finalists have written brief descriptions of their work. Please review the descriptions and cast your vote for one association in each of the three categories. Please use this survey link to cast your vote. Each association should submit one ballot only. Votes will be automatically tabulated. The voting deadline is Friday, May 15.
Cast your vote, and help us shine a spotlight on colleagues who richly deserve this recognition! The winners will be announced and recognized at the YWCA USA Women of Distinction Awards Gala on Friday, June 5, at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington D.C.
