A Few Words from our CEO

Welcome to the new and improved YWire! I hope you share my excitement about the new format which is mobile optimized and easy-to-read from any device. In addition to reflecting our bold new branding, the new YWire will serve as a user-friendly snapshot of our work at the national office and provide you with regular updates on exciting network news.

The new YWire will be distributed on a bimonthly schedule. In between YWires, you will receive information about breaking YWCA USA news and other important information via the intranet and website, memos sent to leaders and staff, and direct correspondence from your director of member services.

I hope you enjoy this new newsletter as much as we do! It’s just another way that we’re #OnAMission!

Sincerely,

Dara Richardson-Heron, M.D.

A whopping 80% of you completed the satisfaction survey last month—a new record! This survey and the biennial self-assessment survey help us better plan and provide services, so we thank you!

Watch the policy briefing from YWCA USA’s National Day Of Action on April 28, and read the House and Senate letters signed by 103 YWCAs that same day urging Congress to support full funding of Title IV Part A of the Every Student Succeeds Act. WATCH
