Earlier this month, more than 100 people joined us for the kick-off webinar about our first-ever, in-district YWCA Advocacy Day on August 17, 2016. We could not be more excited about the interest across our YWCA network in this event!
For anyone who would like to participate in Advocacy Day, registration is open through June 30. If you'd like to learn a bit more before registering, we invite you to watch the webinar.
We have a tremendous opportunity to raise our collective voice and ratchet up the pressure on Congress to support bills that are so critical to women's economic empowerment — namely, paid sick leave, paid family and medical leave, and safe leave.
