SUBJECT: Apply Now for Allstate's Purple Purse Challenge

Dear YWCA Leaders,

We're excited to share that our friends at the Allstate Foundation are now accepting applications for the 2016 Purple Purse Challenge! The Allstate Foundation will select up to 250 groups that provide financial empowerment services to domestic violence survivors to join the Challenge this fall. Participating Purpose Purse Community Partners will receive: ongoing fundraising and campaign support from the Allstate Foundation and CrowdRise; a package of promotional materials to publicize the Challenge in their communities; and a chance to compete for $650,000 in prize funding from the Allstate Foundation. This year, the Allstate Foundation is also covering all of the CrowdRise platform fees for Purple Purse Challenge donations to help make the most of fundraising efforts.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through August 15. We encourage you to apply early to take advantage of the support and training that Allstate is offering leading into the Challenge this fall.

Also, don't forget to sign up for collaborative fundraising by June 30! It's an innovative opportunity to raise money together, and we'd love to have as many YWCAs participate as possible. We are stronger together!
