SUBJECT: YWCA USA Board Chair Transition

Dear YWCA Leaders,

I am writing to inform you that on September 1, 2016, Paula Green Johnson, will become Chair of the YWCA USA Board of Directors.

Paula, Community Advocate and Volunteer, has served as YWCA USA Board Vice Chair since 2014. She previously served as President of YWCA Salt Lake City Board of Directors and has been a committed volunteer and supporter of YWCA Salt Lake City for over 19 years. Paula is also a member of YWCA World Service Council.

Paula will be replacing Marsha Henderson, who recently made a personal decision to step down from her position as YWCA USA Board Chair. As the Assistant Commissioner for Women’s Health at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Marsha has been a longstanding advocate for the health, well being and social justice for women, girls and families.

Please join me in extending a hearty congratulations to Paula Green Johnson on her new role as YWCA USA Board Chair and thanking Marsha Henderson for her three years of service on the YWCA USA Board of Directors culminating in her service as YWCA USA Board Chair in FY2016.

Sincerely,
