Dear YWCA Leaders,
Wow – what incredible work this week! As we inch past the halfway point, we are blown away by your tremendous efforts. Here’s how you can stay engaged during the final hours of Week Without Violence:
Join the #WorkAgainstViolence tweet chat TODAY at 2 p.m. ET and discuss policies and programs that help survivors of gender-based violence. You can view the questions and prepare in advance with this one-pager; use the included sharegraphic to invite your followers!
Share this Week Without Violence video, featuring YWCA staff and volunteers from Washington, D.C. to Berkeley, California. Our biggest thank you to everyone who sent in videos! Share the video on your social media channels and upload your own video on why you’re working against violence!
Take action and get your networks to do the same. Victims of domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault can’t wait for legislation that removes firearms from the hands of abusers and protects their employment while they get help.
Let’s make these final hours of Week Without Violence count! Together, we can end gender-based violence.
Sincerely,
YWCA USA Communications
