SUBJECT: Travel Stipend Grant - YWCA USA National Conference
Dear YWCA Leader,
Thank you for your continued support of our mission. We are currently planning an important YWCA USA National Conference that you won't want to miss!
This year, each eligible local association will receive a travel stipend grant to defray the cost of attending the YWCA USA National Conference in Washington D.C., which will take place June 13 -17, 2017. Eligible local associations will receive the full $1,000 stipend unless they received the stipend for the 2016 Leadership and Capacity Building Institute (LCBI) and did not attend or return the $750. These eligible local associations will receive $250 ($1,000 stipend minus the $750 stipend for LCBI).
An eligible local association, is one that meets the following criteria:
- is current with support fee payments or
- has an executed support fee payment plan with YWCA USA and is current on making payments as specified in the plan.
Local associations who meet the support fee requirement as of January 31, 2017 will receive notification, including an award letter and a check at the end of March. Local associations that do not currently meet the eligibility requirements will have additional opportunities to meet the requirements and receive a 2017 travel stipend grant as outlined below:

No travel stipend grants will be awarded to local associations that do not meet eligibility requirements after May 31, 2017.
