SUBJECT: FY2018 YWCA USA Support Fees Information – Using 2015 Form 990

Dear YWCA Leaders,

We are beginning the process for collection of the fiscal year 2018 Support Fees for the period of September 1, 2017 - August 31, 2018. Your support fees calculation will be based on your 2015 Form 990 and corresponding audited financial statements. We understand that your fiscal year start and end times might vary, so please refer to the year 2015 listed in the upper right corner of your Form 990.

The 2018 Support Fees Process

The 2018 Support Fees packet is now accessible on the YWCA Intranet. On this page, you will find everything you need to complete the process. Please note that materials are to be uploaded to ShareFile by Wednesday July 19, 2017. You will find submission details in the documents below.

On the Support Fees webpage you will find the following key documents:

• FY2018 Support Fees Information Packet contains a process checklist, instructions, and a payment schedule that offers several options
• FY2018 Annual Support Fee Calculation Form where you will highlight specific financial data and select your preferred payment method such as the EFT Authorization Form.

In summary, your local association must upload to ShareFile the following documents:

• 2015 Form 990 (2015 should appear in the upper right hand corner of the 990)
• Audited Financial Statements which correspond with the dates on your 2015 Form 990
• FY 2018 Support Fees Checklist (this is page 1 of the FY 2018 Support Fees Information Packet)
• FY 2018 EFT Authorization Form
• FY 2018 Annual Support Fee Calculation Form

1. If you miss the July 19 deadline, we will use GuideStar to access your 2015 Form 990. We will calculate your support fees and only your support fee payment from 2014 will be applied as an exemption. To take advantage of any other exemptions, you must submit the documents listed above by the July 19 deadline.
2. During FY 2018, each local association will have the opportunity to receive: 1) a travel stipend of $750 to defray LCBI travel expenses (must be compliant with support fees to receive the stipend) and 2) a one-time incentive of $250 to associations that submit a completed EFT support fee form by the July 19 deadline. EFT incentives and travel stipends will be distributed to eligible local associations in YWCA USA’s 2nd Quarter FY 2018.
