Power to the Polls

If you saw Tuesday’s special communication, you know by now that YWCA USA has signed on as a sponsor of the Women’s March Power to the Polls rally this weekend and year-long campaign. Whether or not you march this weekend, we hope you’ll tune in on social media by following us on Twitter and Instagram where we will be tweeting and broadcasting live from the rally in Las Vegas.

World YWCA is Hiring!

Join the World YWCA team at the global headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. They’re recruiting for five positions: Deputy General Secretary, Senior Strategic Communications Specialist, Lead of Strategic Partnerships and Resource Mobilization, Operations Assistant, and Executive Assistant. The detailed job descriptions, applications, instructions, and deadlines are posted on their website.

Deadline This Monday: Strategic Planning Committee

Apply to join a Strategic Planning Committee of up to twenty individuals including local YWCA leaders to provide leadership to this important cross-discipline process. Read more and apply here

Public Policy Update

YWCA USA is closely monitoring the flurry of action occurring in Congress regarding DACA negotiations and the continuing resolution to fund the government through February 16. We will update the network with actions as soon as next steps are clear.

  • June 5 – 8: 2018 Leadership & Capacity Building Institute in San Antonio, TX
