The 2018 Stand Against Racism begins tomorrow! We are proud to have over 400 events planned in communities from Bar Harbor, Maine, to Kauai, Hawai’i and over 20 national partners committed to taking a stand with us.

There are so many ways to take a stand against racism this week. Here are just a few ideas to get you started!

  1. Plan to attend an event near you. Check out our interactive map to see what’s happening in your community.
  2. Mark your calendars and join us online for a special Facebook Live, this Friday, April 27, at 2:30 p.m. ET. We’ll be chatting with some national partners about civic engagement, empowering women of color in the political process, and more! Help promote the event with this graphic.
  3. Share your support on social media by making a short video (like this one from our CEO!) telling us why you stand against racism. Use this simple guide to help you get started!

Keep an eye out all week for further messages about how YOU can take a stand against racism this week – and every day!

Sincerely,

YWCA USA Communications
