Get Out the Vote! 10 days until Election Day on November 6

  • #YWomenVote: Please continue your GOTV efforts online by joining us on Twitter and Facebook next Monday and Friday as we lift up the issues and highlight What Women Want. This week’s updated social media toolkit includes sample posts and new graphics to spotlight women’s health care and social justice priorities.
  • Are you passionate about the family separation and detention crisis at the border? Use this comprehensive toolkit to voice your YWCA’s opposition to proposed regulations that would allow the indefinite detention of children and families, and roll back legal protections. Deadline: November 6
  • YWCA Policy Update Webinar: Missed this week’s webinar? Get caught up on all of the GOTV, Capitol Hill, and administration updates by watching our YWCA Policy Update Webinar, recorded on Wednesday, October 24.

Public Policy Priorities Survey

The Public Policy and Advocacy Team needs your help!We are reevaluating our policy priorities for the next Congress and cannot do that without YOUR INPUT! The survey is in your CEO’s inbox now. Week Without Violence Feedback Survey

As one of YWCA’s two main national campaigns, we want your feedback to help inform our planning and execution, and to help make it even bigger and better for next year! New Resource for Governance

We have added a new resource to the governance landing page. Learn the basics of good committee structure including Governance, Executive, Development, Financial and Advisory using the publication Nonprofit Board Committees from BoardSource.

New to the YWCA USA Online Resource Library

New and updated resources posted in the YWCA Online Resource Library include YWCA USA's What Women Want and other research reports profiling the current status of and needs among women and girls, as well as new presentations and guides covering a number of topics. Descriptions and live links for new postings are in the New Postings Index. A desk reference guide, descriptions and live links for all resources are in the full Resource Library Index.
