Please Vote for YWCA Seattle! One of 20 Sites Selected as a Site Rich in Women’s History
As YWCA Seattle's headquarters since its construction in 1914, the Seneca Building embodies the organization’s 125-year history of advocacy for women, from economic freedom to suffrage to fair housing, as it champions for their advancement and challenges the inequities they face. The Seneca Building is currently in the 2019 Partners in Preservation: Main Streets campaign, a campaign created by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express to engage the public in preserving and increasing awareness of America’s historic places and their role in sustaining local communities. We encourage everyone to vote for this exciting opportunity for YWCA Seattle to receive grant funding to restore the building’s lobby and help it continue to inspire and empower women for generations to come. YWCA University RJ 101: Racial Justice Foundations
Ready to go back to school? Mark your calendar for Thursday, November 7th. Registration for RJ 101: Racial Justice Foundations will officially open during YWConnect.
