SUBJECT: Executive Search Update

Dear YWCA Leaders,

We are pleased to announce the YWCA USA Board has retained executive search and talent firm, Korn Ferry to partner in the recruitment of the next chief executive officer. Divina Gamble, Nonprofit Practice leader, and Kristin Mannion, from the firm's Board & CEO Practice, will conduct the search. Their process is designed to be inclusive, incorporating input early in the process from key YWCA stakeholders to ensure a leader is selected who best serves the current and future needs of the organization and our mission.

Over the next several weeks, our Korn Ferry consultants will be on an information gathering tour via meetings with and/or surveys to board members, staff, association leaders, and strategic partners.

As one of the first steps in this process, we invite all executive directors, CEOs, and local association board presidents to complete this brief survey by 6 p.m. PST on May 3. We thank you in advance for your expedience with this survey so that we can keep the process moving along.

Korn Ferry is also working closely with the search committee, which includes Board Chair Sylvia Fields, board members Vicky Dinges and Tina Herrera, and ourselves, to develop a timeline for the search to ensure a customized and thorough process. Updates on the search will be provided throughout the process.

We are committed to finding your next leader at YWCA USA, and appreciate your engagement and perspectives in this process. Again, we thank Casey Harden for her efforts to step up and drive the organization forward during this time of transition, as we work toward our bold mission and bright future.

Best regards,

Sheila Carnicelli & Loyce Pierce Wright
Search Committee Co-Chairs
