SUBJECT: YWCA National Metrics and Impact Report
Dear Local Association Leader,
We are pleased to announce the launch of 2017’s YWCA National Metrics and Impact Report online form and process.
The purpose of this important effort is to collect data about YWCA demographics, programs, funding, and outcomes. The report submission deadline is March 24, 2017, a fixed date, and submitting this report is part of YWCAs’ mutual membership agreement.
Data from the YWCA National Metrics and Impact Report is used to:
- Build relationships with national funders and secure grants which individual YWCAs do not have access to. More than $2,000,000 in funding was secured using 2015’s data.
- Elevate the work of local associations in national marketing campaigns.
- Develop advocacy agendas and credible, powerful messaging.
- Present leading programs and impacts across the organization.
- Facilitate networking and sharing of service strategies among local associations.
- Help make decisions for awards and other YWCA USA benefits available to local associations.
- Update the online catalogue of YWCA programs.
- Designate capacity-building priorities.
- Harness our collective power to advance the mission of YWCA!

A February 14th webinar has been scheduled to cover the technical aspects of the process, followed by a February 21st open Q & A session. The February 14th webinar will be recorded and available for viewing at Webinars on Demand.
Given the time necessary to generate data summaries for the national YWCA USA conference in June, flexibility and/or an extension for the due date is not possible. Hence, please be sure that a plan and resources are in place to complete the report by March 24.
A webinar orientation to 2017’s report process aired on January 23, 2017 and provided valuable information for all who will be involved in this process. To access the webinar, go to Webinars on Demand. If you need a copy of your YWCA’s 2015 report, please contact your director of member services.
Thank you in advance for your timely response and attentive participation. Your contributions are appreciated and essential for advancing YWCA’s mission.
