By Jackie Adhiambo posted 10-22-2019 01:50 PM

Week Without Violence 2019 is a wrap! Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this year’s campaign. At YWCA, we commit ourselves to the work of justice, which takes on many forms including ending gender-based violence. This week YWCA USA hosted a Hill Briefing on “Breaking Intergenerational Cycles of Domestic Violence and Trauma,” hosted a Twitter chat on “Disarming Domestic Abusers,” posted five special edition "Organize Your Butterflies" podcast episodes, and participated in 13 earned media interviews relating to gender-based violence.

Thank you for all of the important work that you did to help raise awareness during our annual Week Without Violence campaign! We are reminded that we are stronger as one YWCA.

Please save the date for our next YWConnect, scheduled for Thursday, November 7th from 2 - 3:30 p.m. ET. We'll share details on our marketing and branding campaign, our Census 2020 campaign, and officially launch YWCA University! More details to follow.
